William Russell Plunkett

William Russell Plunkett of Bonaire, GA, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2021.

Russell was born on December 10, 1953, in Crisp County, GA to the late Rufus and Dot Plunkett. He was the oldest of four brothers. Russell was a graduate of Warner Robins High School’s Class of 1972. He retired as Assistant Manager at Winn Dixie in 1985. In his spare time, Russell enjoyed fantasy novels, woodworking and collecting music.

Left to treasure his memory are his wife of 47 years, Jean of Bonaire; his children, Jeffrey (Kim) of Kathleen, and Christopher of Bonaire; and two grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Magnolia Park Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeff Cleghorn officiating. Dress attire will be casual.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of William Russell Plunkett to the donor’s favorite charity.
