William "Bill" Wall entered into rest peacefully June 8, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.
Bill, originally from Tamaqua, Pennsylvania joined the Air Force and moved several places across the United States during his enlistment. Bill and his loving wife, Betty, celebrated sixty years of marriage last January. He had a passion for traveling and conquered all fifty states along with Betty in their motor home. He served as the State Director of the Georgia Good Sam Club for several years. He was a talented carpenter and had a meticulous eye for perfection. He used to spend hours in his workshop building one-of-a-kind pieces. However, he loved nothing more in life than his wife, Betty.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, his oldest son William Wall and wife Kathleen Wall of Hawkinsville, daughter Sherry Warner and husband Robert Warner of Kathleen, son Randall Wall and wife Tracy Wall of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Lisa Eddington, Lena Lyons, Leia Fountain, Kate Warner-Evans, and Erica Wall; and great grandchildren Ava and Ella Fountain, Andy and Avery Eddington, and Lexi Lyons.
Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
