William T. (Bill) Jones

Bill Jones, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 in Augusta. Services will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones was born in Plains, GA, to the late Elmo W. and Myrtice Jones. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include his wife, Nira V. Jones, Bonaire; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Tom Robinson, Grovetown, GA; and Robin and Chuck Tignor, Snellville, GA; sister, Shirley Watson, Warner Robins; brother, Danny DeVaughn Jones, McRae, GA; and grandsons, Eric and Andrew Robinson and Wes and Trent Tignor.

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
