William Taylor Jones

Taylor Jones, 34, entered into rest on Sunday, March 30, 2008 after a long struggle since the age of six with a childhood illness.

Mr. Jones was born on November 17, 1973 in Warner Robins, Georgia. He graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1994 and then attended Middle Georgia Technical College. He was a joy to everyone he was around. His sweet demeanor was infectious and he always took an interest in the people he was around. He enjoyed arts and crafts, puzzles, music and movies. His paternal grandparents, William A. and Mary L Jones, and maternal grandparents, Sidney W. Thurman and Edith J. Kelly, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his parents, Don and Teri Jones, Warner Robins; siblings, Keith Jones (Jennifer), Warner Robins, Sissy Jones, Athens, and Ben Jones (Amy), Warner Robins; uncles, Woody Thurman (Lisa), Louisville, and Paul Thurman, Amsterdam; niece, Bailey Jones; nephews, Benjamin and Trey Jones;

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Service times will coincide with the services for his grandfather, William A. Jones, who passed away on March 27, 2008. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities, Attn: Charitable Donations, One Kroc Drive, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523.
