A self-proclaimed hillbilly, Mr. Jones was born on February 27, 1947 in Berea, Kentucky to the late Robert Jones and Virginia Payne Jones. After proudly serving his country in the United States Army, Mr. Jones worked as a cutter operator at Graphic Packaging International from where he retired after 30 years of service. McClurg (James) of Liberty, Indiana, and Barbara A. Jones of Perry; his sons, Christopher Alford and Shannon Alford, both of Warner Robins; his brothers, Jack Jones (Cindy) and Terry Jones, both of Hamilton, Ohio; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
