William ''Will'' Virgil Wilkison

William Virgil “Will” Wilkison, 72, died Monday, August 19, 2002. Services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 21 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery with the Reverend William Glover officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind, 5626 Laura Walker Road, Waycross, GA 31503.

Mr. Wilkison was born in Puxico, Missouri. He served in the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Technical Sergeant. He was also retired from the Bibb County Board of Education. Mr. Wilkison was a truck driver for the Georgia Food Bank and was very active in the Noon Day Lions Club. He attended North Macon Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oren and Pearl Wilkison, and brother, Monroe Wilkison.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Walker Wilkison, Macon; daughter, Jean Glover, Warner Robins; stepsons, Wes Heath, Macon; and Grant Morgan, Eastman; stepdaughter, Mandy Morgan, Dry Branch; brother, Dean Wilkison, Trinity, TX; three granddaughters, Aimee Catey, Ashlee Glover, and Jessica Glover, all of Warner Robins; five stepgrandchildren, Wesley Heath IV, Ryan Heath, and Kaitlin Heath, all of Macon; and Harley Morgan and Cassidy Morgan, both of Eastman; and three great-grandchildren, William Catey, Skyler Glover, and Jacob Catey, all of Warner Robins.
