Willie Andrew Peoples

Willie Andrew Peoples, 71, entered into rest on Friday, April 7, 2023.


Willie was born on August 20, 1951, in Sardis, Alabama to the late Harold and Catherine Peoples. He was a quiet man, but a personable one. He was involved in church community work and volunteered at Warner Robins Christian Methodist Episcopal, where he tutored school-aged children in math. Willie was skilled in computers and would often help his friends and family build or repair their computers. He was a family man who loved and supported his family. In his free time, he loved to ride his tractor and lawnmower to cut his grass, gardening, antiques, old model cars, solitaire, puzzles, reading, playing pool, working on cars, woodworking, and building and working on various projects.


In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his son, Donald Peoples, and brothers, Lawrence Peoples and Jeffrey Peoples.


His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 35 years, Victoria Peoples; children, Amber Peoples (Wesley Hancock), Kianna Ivey (Tyrese), and Catherine Walton (Davon); daughter-in-law, Vijic Warren; grandchildren, Alexander Warren, Jah’lazsheyah Peoples, Andrew Peoples, Ashton Peoples, Autumn Peoples, Royal Walton, Zenith Walton, and Tyrese Ivey, Jr.; siblings, Donald Peoples, David Peoples, Tomeka Minter, Takeshia Minter, Courtney Minter, and Lorene Brown; special family members, Walter “Tiny” Peoples and Mable Peoples; along with with brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, many cousins and other loving family members and friends.


Visitation will be Sunday, April 16, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Willie will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens. There will be a repast following the burial at Greater Springfield Missionary Baptist Church located at 1195 Heflund Avenue, Warner Robins, GA 31093.
