Willie Cecil “Bubba” Myrick, 79, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007.
Mr. Myrick was born on May 23, 1928, in Butler, Georgia. A U.S. Army World War II veteran, he retired from Civil Service as a civilian police officer. He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and the owner of Myrick’s Road Service.
His parents, Willie Lee “Bill” Myrick and Gladys Locke Myrick, brother, Horace Myrick and step-mother, Ellen McConnell preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Myrick, Warner Robins; daughters Dianne Caywood, Warner Robins; Denise Smith (Michael), Bonaire, and son Gary Myrick (Kimberly), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Michelle NeSmith, Tiffany Padgett, Ben Newton, Brandon, Brandi and Jason Smith, River Wood; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 7, 2007, from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 8, 2007 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
