Willis Pearthree

April 24, 1928 — December 24, 2014

Mr. Willis I. Pearthree passed away on Tuesday, December 24th, 2014. He was born in Spokane, Washington but in early childhood moved to Superior, Wisconsin, where he spent most of his life. A retired supervisor for Soo Line Railroads, Mr. Pearthree had a true love for the railroad and his work in the industry. In addition to serving four years in the United States Navy, he also enjoyed many years of golfing and fishing and was an avid wood-worker.
His parents, Arleigh and Maise Pearthree, and son, William James Pearthree, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 64 years, Geraldine Rose Pearthree; daughter, Launie Cunningham (AJ), Warner Robins; grandchildren, AJ Cunningham (Elizabeth), Megan Newell (William), Maggie Pearthree (Todd Mitchell), Curtis Pearthree, Stuart Pearthree (Deb); and ten great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 10th, 2015, at McCullough Funeral Home.
