Wilma I. Capps, 85, passed away on October27, 2004, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 29, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Mrs. Capps was born on November 3, 1918 in Flint, Michigan to the late Elmer Lumley and Flossie Brown Lumley. In addition to her parents, her husband, Clarence Lester Capps and her son, William “Bill” Capps preceded her in death. Mrs. Capps was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, where she was active with Circle # 2.
Survivors include one daughter, Clarice Lynn Dixon, Warner Robins; sister, Becky Edgcombe, Flint, Michigan; grandson, Eric Dixon, Kathleen; granddaughters, Lisa Dixon, Warner Robins; and Anna Capps, Cleveland, GA; and four great-grandchildren.
