Yolanda Sue Carroll

Sue Carroll, 68, joined her beloved husband, Michael Scott Carroll, Sr. in Heaven on Thursday, April 6, 2017.

Sue was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to the late Lewis Eldon and Betty Emery Southerd on November 8, 1948. She retired as an internal auditor from Sunmark Community Bank with 20 years of dedicated employment. A very active member of First United Methodist Church in Hawkinsville, Sue loved the Lord and her family. She will be sorely missed by her family and her church, but the memory of her loyalty to God will remain an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

In addition to her husband and parents, Sue was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Diana Southerd.

Sue leaves her memory behind with her loving son, Scott Carroll, Jr., his wife, Sandy, and their children, Megan Carter, Noah Carroll, and Brice Carroll of Florence, South Carolina; and her loving daughter, Michelle Carroll Martin, and her son, Ethan Martin of Hawkinsville.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 9th from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Mrs. Carroll will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Sue Carroll to First United Methodist Church Hawkinsville, 44 Merritt Street, Hawkinsville, GA 31036 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
