Zane Edwin Johnson

Zane Johnson, 71, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007.

Mr. Johnson was born on October 5, 1935 in Kite, Georgia. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Johnson retired from Robins Air Force Base in 1987 after 37 years working as an Electronic Repair Foreman. He was a member of Peachtree Baptist Church in Byron. His father, John M. Johnson, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Rose L. Johnson, Warner Robins; mother, Lizzie L. Hale, Warner Robins; son, Mark Johnson (Anna), Stone Mountain, GA; brother, Alton Johnson (Mary), Warner Robins; two step brothers, Michael Hale (Ann), Palmetto, GA; Terry Hale (Janice), Palmetto, GA; two nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10 from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Donation Center, 700 Broadway, Suite 810
