While we routinely work with all our area cemeteries, we are proud to offer Magnolia Park as an option for a final resting place. Our private, family owned, perpetual care cemetery is a Houston County landmark and is located at 205 S. Pleasant Hill Road, here in Warner Robins. Magnolia Park is the final resting place for thousands of people, including Civil War veterans, members of all branches of the military, civic and business leaders, educators, and people of virtually every faith. Our cemetery has undergone massive renovation, expansion, and development since we purchased the property in 2003.
We've added new mausoleums, family estates, new burial gardens, and many beautiful new features. We have room to grow further and plans for additional burial and entombment sites are on the horizon.
Veterans and Magnolia Park: We are proud to honor our military families with our dedicated Veteran's Garden, the Garden of Valor, where a free space is provided for any honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces. Our newest Valor addition includes a flagstaff with lighting, proudly flying the U.S. flag as well as the POW-MIA flag above a unique feature that we commissioned at the base of the flagstaff. These spaces may be used for ground inurnment, as well as traditional burial. We will also assist families in procuring the VA-provided marker for deceased veterans. It is our honor to serve those who have served us.
Pre-Planning or At Time of Need Arrangements: Whether you are considering memorialization for a loved one who has passed or pre-planning for yourself, Magnolia Park offers a variety of options from which to choose. If a loss has occurred, we would be honored to shepherd you through the decisions entailed with selecting a final resting place for your loved one. If you are in a planning stage, there are many advantages to pre-planning your arrangements. Chief among these is alleviating the stress of decision-making during a difficult time down the road for your loved ones. Families often remark that this is the greatest gift a parent has left them. One of the first steps to pre-planning at Magnolia Park is scheduling a visit with us.
Pre-Planning at Magnolia Park is an easy process. During your visit you will learn about our numerous options, be able to make selections without pressure or in a time of distress and feel relief knowing everything is in place well in advance of your family's need. Pre-planning also presents an opportunity to reserve an estate lot for your entire family, or lots situated side-by-side - a lasting gift for family members in the future.
If you already own lots/spaces, you may want to consider taking advantage of pre-planning by selecting your memorialization ahead of time, if you haven't already done so. Decisions made today, without being under the stress at the time of a loss, will pay dividends in the future for your loved ones when they are relieved of the responsibility of making these selections.
Traditional In-Ground Burial & Inurnment: For Traditional Burial or Inurnment (in-ground interment or placement of an urn on a lot with the freedom to customize the size and design of a marker or monument) we have spaces available in many of our older gardens such as Apostles, Moses, Lord's Prayer, and Cross as well as our newest gardens, Prayer and the Garden of Valor III. We offer both memorial gardens that contain only flush ground markers as well as traditional gardens where upright monuments can be placed. Many people are pleased when they realize a beautiful and unique upright monument can be purchased for, often, less than a cast bronze flat marker set on a granite base. Cremated remains can be placed in a cremation space, or sometimes people choose to purchase a single space for the placement of two sets of cremated remains. There are many options with cremation, we would be pleased to help you learn more.
Mausoleums: A mausoleum is a final resting place that provides an above-ground entombment. For some, an above ground resting place is preferred. Personal choice drives the decision for each person. Our beautiful mausoleums offer both crypts for caskets and also smaller niches for the placement
of cremation urns. At Magnolia Park there are also options for building personal mausoleums on private lots - these can be for one, two, or more people to share.
Cremation and Magnolia Park: Many times, families are uncertain about cremation and the need for a final resting space. While some do choose "home" as the place to maintain an urn holding the cremated remains of a loved one, others aren't certain they want that responsibility for generations to come. At Magnolia Park, there are many options. We offer cremation spaces that provide an in-ground burial option for cremated remains and we also allow the use of a single space for interring two sets of cremated remains in-ground. We also have columbarium options, and mausoleum niches, both of which are an above-ground option for the placement of cremated remains.
Memorialization - Markers and Monuments: The marking of the grave of a loved one should reflect a personal expression of the uniqueness of the individual being memorialized. There are infinite ways to do this. Magnolia Park is pleased to offer traditional upright monuments and statuary in native Georgia granite or marble, as well as flat markers in either Georgia granite or cast bronze set on Georgia granite. For mausoleums, the crypt and niche plates have a uniform appearance particular to each mausoleum structure but allow for the placement of emblems and vases to reflect individuality. In addition to names and dates, memorials often include meaningful quotes, etchings, emblems, artwork, or even carved or cast photos of the deceased. We would be pleased to work with you to design something.
